The year 2010 marked the 35th Anniversary of DR International Climbing Walls. Our offices are located in Yorkshire within sight of the famous climber's playground - Almscliff Crag.

The company was founded by Don Robinson who is acknowledged as the designer of the first true climbing wall built at the University of Leeds in 1964. Don Robinson remains the chairman and Technical Director of the company and leads a team strong in design talent and production skills.

Since its inception the company has designed and constructed over 400 climbing walls in Great Britain, Scandinavia, Spain, Belgium, United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai.

We supply schools, colleges, universities, youth organisations, public & private leisure centres and the military.

The projects range from large comprehensive indoor climbing centres, to smaller walls for schools. We also specialise in freestanding outdoor towers and boulders.

As rapidly as the sport is changing and developing, DR Climbing Walls are keeping up to date with revolutionary new products and pioneering techniques to provide new challenges and to remain at the forefront of the artificial climbing wall market.
